Last night I was inspired by some lovely ladies I talk to everyday online to start doing more activities with Sylas. Lately, we've been stuck in a rut doing the same old things everyday.
Today for lunch we made a kite!
It was alot more involved than I normally get for lunch.
He really enjoyed helping put it all together, though.
Veggie Kite with Chickpea Clouds!
We cut whole wheat bread, spread some guacomole on it, and then put on shredded cabbage, carrots, peas, and corn. He deovoured it!
In an effort to use everything, I used the leftover bread pieces to make myself some home made crutons for my lunch salad!
Yummy!

It is a rainy Thursday so it is perfect to bust out the construction paper.
I've found out two things about crafting with a 2 year old:
1. It is messy
2. It results in temper tantrums
BUT
it is at least fun in the moment!
