As I'm drinking my tea and desparatly trying to put a smile on my face despite the fact Sy let me get no sleep last night, I thought I would reflect on our awesome 4 day weekend. (yea, we have those often.)
There were 40+ ft waves off Northsore. Amazing and terrifying.
I made some really yummy vegan gingerbread men, snowmen, women, and trees. Out of 30 this is what was left after B and I decorated.

Sy's mind will be blown on Christmas morning. All these gifts, minus two tiny ones, are for him. I still have a couple more to wrap and put under. Not to mention the two big ones from B and I that need to be assembled and set out on christmas morning. And, geez, Santa's gifts, too!!
Seriously, the luckies little two year old ever.
(and thinking about that, my friends, puts a big smile on my face.)

that sounds like a wonderful 4 day weekend! i am jealous! and Sy is going to be freaking out! lucky kid!!! i am sorry you got no sleep! you deserve a nice long nap!
Those cookies look delicious! I am so ready to bake and decorate Christmas cookies. What's up with the waves? Was there a storm? since I've gone back to work, I feel out of touch with the real world.
