North Shore and Beyond

Thursday we spent the day exploring North Shore.
We got some yummy handmade soaps and local grown coffee in Wailua.

We drove the length of the island to the macademia nut farm.
On the way we passed the Shrimp Shack. I've seen this on TV several times so Mom had to get something!
We went to the Macademia nut farm in '05 on our vacation and wanted to go again.
I have to say, after this trip I will not ever be going back.
They put MSG in their products. All natural my ass.
(we did at least get some nice pictures)

After our exploration we went and played in Kawela Bay. I was very sad to see they're doing construction in the woods. This is one of our very favorite secluded spots. Seeing them tear down trees to build something out there kind of breaks my heart.
We still had a lovely time playing in the waves, sandcastles, and laying in the sand.
