The Mighty Ralphs

The end of October turned out to be lovely.

Sy and I had a wonderful time trick -or- treating. He was so excited all day and had so much fun.

He was terrified of the house that did up the yard as a haunted house complete with smoke and creepy music. 

He was thrilled to eat 3 pieces of candy.

The only downside was that he deleted half my pictures from the camera before I was able to load them!!

November has fallen on us like a ton of bricks.

The weather is rainy and windy.

Brandon is still gone.
I've got mid-terms in my classes. 

(and I fear as though I may be falling behind! eek!)

Sy has caught hand, foot, and mouth disease.

Sounds horrible, but is actually a chicken pox like virus. We spent all day yesterday at the little E.R. place here on post.

There isn't anything that can be done, it just has to run its course.

My poor baby is miserable. 

Although, life is rough right now I'm still counting my blessings and finding beauty and joy in the little things. 

Like little girl scarecrows welcoming in November. . .
